Volkswagen’s compact SUV, the T-Roc, will in Spring 2020 gain a convertible bodystyle to widen the car's appeal and increase the model's success. The exterior of the new T-Roc will maintain the same modern styling as it's 5-door counterpart, but loses the rear passenger doors. A soft-top replaces the roof, which opens in nine seconds up to speeds of 18mph, and locks/unlocks electromechanically.
