New Skoda Enyaq Coupe iV

The new Skoda Enyaq Coupe iV has been unveiled by the Czech manufacturer.

The Coupe iV boasts a huge 339-mile range that’s 3 miles more than its Enyaq sibling on the same powertrain, thanks to a stylish sloping rear roofline increasing its aerodynamics.

Based on the same MEB platform as the SUV Enyaq, the Coupe iV comes in three different powertrain options.

A new vRS variant is available too that has the same 77kWh battery as the other Enyaq Coupes but is connected to two electric motors - one positioned on each axle. This provides 295bhp and the potential for 339lb of torque.

The vRS trim, which shares similarities to Volkswagen’s ID.5 GTX, can also manage 0-62mph in 6.5 seconds and a top speed of 111mph.

On top of its sloping roof, the vRS trim has extra detailing across the car as well as luxury bucket seats. A signature red reflector strip wraps around the rear bumper and 20-inch wheels complete the sporty look.

All trims will feature a 5.3-inch digital display and a 13-inch central touchscreen, alongside a multi-functioning steering wheel that’s fitted with paddles to adjust the level of energy recuperation under deceleration. A panoramic glass roof and body-coloured side skirts will be present too.
