New Citroen logo

The famous French manufacturer has undergone a fresh new rebrand as it prepares to install an all-electric line-up.

Citroen, who is set to reveal a brand-new concept family vehicle in the coming days, has unveiled its latest logo that takes heavy inspiration from the company’s heritage.

The new badge takes the classic Citroen chevrons and fixes them within an upright oval plate. The flat and minimalist design looks very similar to several logos Citroen used prior to the Second World War.

The last time Citroen updated its logo was in 2016. This was a subtle update which saw the company flatten their monochrome metallic badge in a trend that many manufacturers have participated in over the last 5 years.

In addition to a new badge, Citroen has also welcomed a new slogan, “Nothing Moves Us Like Citroen”. This will begin to be used in corporate and product communications going forwards.

The refreshed emblem signals a new chapter in Citroen’s history. Car manufacturers across the globe are progressing towards all-electric line-ups and the French carmaker wants an updated image as it heads into these years.

The new logo will gradually begin to feature on models across Citroen’s range and will be displayed on its latest concepts and models from mid-2023.
