End of your Finance Lease agreement.
As your Finance Lease agreement reaches its term, you need to think about what you'd like to do to pay the Final Rental. We've detailed your options below, and if you have further questions, please contact your Sales Administrator. Contact your branch.
Decide what you would like to do at the end of your contract.
At the end of your Finance Lease agreement, you will pay a Final Rental either in full or refinanced and subsequently own the vehicle. There are a few ways you can pay for this Final Rental, which are detailed below. This figure will have been agreed upon on your accepted quotation, but for clarity please contact your Sales Administrator.
1. Refinance your Final Rental.
If you would like to refinance your Final Rental, please speak to your Sales Administrator who will contact the funder to arrange this.
2. Pay the Final Rental.
At the end of a Finance Lease arrangement, you are required to pay a Final Rental. This can either be by selling the vehicle to obtain this figure or paying this by other means.
Pay by selling the vehicle - If you opt to pay by selling your vehicle, you will need to arrange this yourself. Once you have sold the vehicle and obtained the pre-agreed Final Rental figure, you need to pay this to the funder as well as a pre-agreed percentage of the sales price. Once done, you need to notify your Sales Administrator and/or the funder with the sale details and vehicle's mileage.
Pay by other means - If you opt to pay the Final Rental pay other means, you will be invoiced for this figure directly by the funder. Once you have paid, please notify your Sales Administrator.
Once the Final Rental has been paid, the agreement will be closed and the vehicle will belong to you, if not sold on. The DVLA will be notified of the keeper change by the funder.
You may find that you wish to obtain a new vehicle after your agreement. Please speak to your Sales Consultant for more information about your options.
