New Mercedes-Benz P-Class

Mercedes-Benz have revealed their latest car - a stylish 2-door pickup. The P-Class shares much of the same body work as the latest A-class but with a nifty pickup twist.

The P-Class is the first pickup from Mercedes-Benz since their X-Class and shows a new direction for the German brand. Estimated to come in at a cheaper price too (around the £22,000 mark), the P-Class could prove to be a desirable option for many drivers.

The front-end of the body is almost an exact replica of the much loved A-class, with a beautifully curved bonnet displaying the iconic Benz badge.

Towards the back-end, you really get to see what makes this LCV unique. The cargo bed on the P-Class seamlessly fits in with the A-class styling, offering extra practicality and ruggedness to a firm favourite.

What’s even more impressive is the P-Class’ ability to go from 0-60mph in just 4.8 seconds. A 1.3-cylinder 4cyl turbo petrol with an additional electric motor that produces 215bhp, is to thank for this vehicle's excellent performance capabilities.

The interior is immaculately put together with lots of soft-touch plastics and minimalist edges. A top of the range infotainment touch screen will delight any driver too, along with the intuitive ‘Hey Mercedes’ system.

The first models will also come with an in-built hand sanitiser dispenser beneath the touchscreen. A helpful touch in ensuring we keep our hands clean during this pandemic.

Overall the P-Class looks like it could be a landmark LCV for Mercedes-Benz as they turn towards a rather unique, yet very stylish, practical and powerful pickup - all at an affordable price.

Happy April Fools' Day 😉
