New Citroen C5 Aircross facelift

Citroen’s latest update to their C5 model has seen the SUV gain a more up-market feel.

The French manufacturer has cleaned up aspects of the C5’s external appearance. The nose is now more upright and the lights have new LED signatures.

The body now has more angular lines instead of flowing curves and a new 18-inch alloy wheel design makes an appearance too.

Body colours are limited to just shades of black, grey and white with an additional Eclipse Blue paint joining the line-up to give the vehicle a more mature and less flashy appearance.

Citroen has revamped the interior too. A larger 10-inch infotainment screen sits above the centre console that contains physical buttons. A 12.3-inch digital display will sit behind the steering wheel.

New Advanced Comfort seats with heating and massaging functions join the cabin. Citroen claims the C5 Aircross has more boot space than rival SUVs due to its retractable rear seats.

Petrol and diesel power will continue and the plug-in hybrid powertrain will be available on mid-range models.

Citroen is expected to release full pricing details of this new facelift in the coming weeks.
